RETURN POLICY
Vehicle Return
- Standard Return Location: Vehicles must be returned to the designated drop-off location specified in the rental agreement, typically at our main office at Tirana International Airport or as arranged during booking.
- Condition on Return: Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as they were received, apart from normal wear and tear. Any damage, missing items, or excessive dirt may result in additional charges.
- Fuel Policy: The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pick-up. If the fuel level is lower, a refueling fee will be applied.
- Late Returns: If the vehicle is returned later than the agreed time without prior notice, additional charges will apply. The grace period for late returns is 60 minutes, and any delay beyond this will result in a fee calculated based on the rental rate.
- Early Returns: No refunds will be issued for vehicles returned earlier than the rental end date specified in the agreement.
Return Outside of Working Hours
- Returns outside of our regular business hours (08:00 to 20:30) can be arranged upon request and may incur an additional fee of 30 euros. Prior arrangements must be made, and the Renter must provide relevant details, such as a phone number and any flight information.
Inspection on Return
- All vehicles will be inspected upon return. Renters are encouraged to be present during the inspection to review any findings related to damage or discrepancies.
- If any fines, tickets, or penalties have been incurred during the rental period, these will be the responsibility of the Renter and may be deducted from the deposit or charged separately.
Personal Belongings
Pepa Rent Car Albania is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the vehicle. Renters are advised to double-check the vehicle for their belongings before returning it.
Lease Duration
- Definitions and Calculations: The Lease Holder agrees to return the vehicle on the date specified in the contract. The leasing period is calculated in 24-hour increments. If the Renter wishes to extend the rental period, they must notify the company at least 48 hours before the scheduled drop-off time.
- Up to 1 hour of delay will incur no fee.
- Delays exceeding 1 hour will result in a charge equal to 100% of the daily rental rate.
- Penalty for Unnotified Extension: If the Renter extends the rental period without notifying the company, a penalty of 200 euros will be applied.
- Early Return: If the vehicle is returned 1-2 hours or several days earlier than the contract end date, no refund will be issued for the unused rental days.
- End of Contract: The contract is considered complete when the Renter returns the car, keys, and documents to a Pepa Rent Car agent. In the event of an accident, the contract ends when the Renter submits a completed police report. Rental charges will continue to accrue until this submission.
