REFUND POLICY
General Cancellation and Refund Policy
- For fully prepaid or part-paid bookings, the Renter can cancel the booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. To cancel, the Renter must use the provided reservation link and reservation number received at the time of booking. The prepayment for the reservation will be refunded to the original payment method, excluding any non-refundable fees.
- It is the Renter's responsibility to initiate the cancellation in advance. The cancellation policy is available and highlighted during the booking process, and it is essential for the Renter to read and understand the terms. Failure to review the cancellation policy will not be accepted as a valid excuse for disputes or exceptions.
- Cancellation requests may take up to 48 hours to process. Applicable fees may vary based on the timing of the cancellation. Reservations made within 24 hours of the pick-up time are non-refundable.
Flight Delays and Cancellations
- Pepa Rent Car Albania is not responsible for any issues or costs resulting from flight delays or cancellations, as these are outside our control. The Renter must follow the standard cancellation process if delays or cancellations affect their ability to collect the vehicle.
- Refund eligibility will depend on factors such as booking type (standard or prepaid) and the timing of the cancellation. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pick-up time are non-refundable.
No-Show Policy
A 'no-show' occurs when:
- The Renter fails to inform us of the cancellation before the scheduled pick-up time.
- The Renter does not arrive at the arranged time and date to collect the vehicle.
- The Renter does not present the required documentation, such as a valid driver’s license and a credit card in the main driver's name with sufficient available funds.
If any of these situations occur, no refund will be given. Additionally, if the Renter arrives more than two hours after the scheduled pick-up time without prior notice, the reservation will be classified as a no-show, and the vehicle may no longer be available.
- The car hire company reserves the right to refuse the vehicle if the Renter arrives late without the necessary documentation and a valid credit card. In such cases, unless the booking has been canceled at least 24 hours in advance, no refund will be issued.
